Mission Trips
Emyland Foundation for Health, affiliated with Emyland Medical Centre, welcomes individuals and groups who desire to serve, learn, and make a meaningful impact in underserved communities in Buikwe District, Uganda. Our mission trips combine healthcare service, community engagement, and faith-based encouragement in a responsible and organized setting.
Who Can Join?
We welcome individuals and organized groups including:
• Medical professionals
• Nursing teams
• Public health professionals
• Church groups
• Youth groups (18+)
• University teams
• International partners
All visits are coordinated in advance to ensure safety, structure, and meaningful engagement.
Mission participants may assist in:
• Supporting community medical outreaches
• Assisting maternal and child health programs
• Visiting vulnerable families
• Participating in health education sessions
• Praying with and encouraging households (for faith-based groups)
• Learning about rural healthcare challenges in Uganda
